Every lot of green beans goes over a sorting screen before roasting, this screen sorts by size and shape. Some beans get chipped during hulling, which costs them their looks. Same growing, same processing as the rest of our coffee. The difference is the screen, not the care.
We roast it dark on purpose: a mix of sizes roasts unevenly when taken light, so we develop the roast further. Deep cocoa and honeyed instead of the bright acidity our single lots are built for. Ground, for the morning filter rather than the scale. Good in a South Indian filter, a French press, a moka pot, or cold brewed.
₹1500/kilo, about a third of what our named lots cost, priced on how it was sorted, not how it was grown. The farmer was paid the same premium for the same red fruit.
