The Name
What Vithai Means
Vithai means seed in Tamil. It is the starting point — the irreducible unit of potential from which everything grows.
For us, the seed is a coffee cherry that started on a branch in the Palani Hills, tended by a farmer who has spent years learning their land. Every exceptional cup starts with an extraordinary origin.

Instead of shipping raw cherries out of the region, we focus on building local processing infrastructure to retain quality at origin.
We work with farmers before harvest — helping with raised-bed drying setups, controlled fermentation, and cherry selection protocols that enable specialty-grade outcomes.
